Plants and certifications

In Manzanares, in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, we craft our cheeses with care, following traditional Spanish methods and strict quality standards.

Some of our most unique cheeses continue their journey to Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, where they slowly mature in our caves, developing their distinctive flavors.

Just minutes away, in El Puerto de Santa María, our Marcona almond facility and home base bring together our team and operations.

Alimentias holds internationally recognized certifications, including BRC Agents and Brokers and IFS Broker for our export operations, and BRC Food Safety, and IFS Food for our cheese caves and almond plant.

Cheese Caves

In Jerez de la Frontera, we poured our heart and soul into creating underground cheese caves, where time and carefully controlled conditions shape the flavor, aroma, and texture of select cheeses.

Sustainability

Across all our facilities, we are committed to the highest international standards. We continuously improve our processes to reduce our carbon footprint, minimize water use, and limit plastics and microplastics.

At Finca María Paz, in Jerez de la Frontera, we have installed 230 solar panels to cover nearly all our energy needs. We have also planted Marcona almond, Cornicabra olive, and quince trees, supporting local biodiversity and the surrounding landscape.
